International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched the Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship Scheme (MSCFP) in 2020. Under this programme talented female students are being offered opportunities to carry out master's studies in Nuclear Science and Technology.
This is a very prestigious international fellowship where up to 100 awards are offered internationally. The IAEA nominated Marie Curie fellows can enroll in in the following master's degree programmes (2-year duration each) at PIEAS offered by the Faculties of Applied Sciences & Engineering:
- Radiation and Medical Oncology
- Nuclear Medicine
- Medical Physics
- Radiation Physics
PIEAS has already hosted IAEA Marie Curie fellows in MS 2020-22 & 2021-2023 sessions.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP) - How to Apply
To apply for the Marie Curie fellowship, the international student has to secure admission first in the PIEAS postgraduate programme. To apply in PIEAS academic programmes (usually the session starts in February each calendar year) please contact Director Academics at International.students @ pieas.edu.pk . The MSCFP focal person at PIEAS is the deputy registrar whom can be contacted at basim @ pieas.edu.pk .
After securing the admission in PIEAS the student has to apply for IAEA Marie Curie Fellowship on the agency website:
