The Objective and Thrust of QEC

As a part of HEC's national-wide effort, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) has been established by the executive authority of the Rector, PIEAS. This cell interacts with the HEC on Academic Quality Assurance matters.

The aim of QEC is to institutionalize academic quality assurance culture by development of Quality Assurance program of activities. The QEC is committed to attaining excellence by continuous quality improvement, by capacity building & strengthening measures, through regularly scheduled assessments, and monitoring the follow-ups.

QEC is responsible for the following:

	Development of quality assurance processes and methods of self-evaluation
	Affirm that the quality of provisions and the standards of awards are being maintained
	To foster curriculum development of subject area, faculty, together with research and other scholarly activities
