The First Phase of implementation of Academic Quality Assurance has been completed. During this phase, Self-Assessment cycle has been completed for Twelve different Academic Programs covering Six different Departments of PIEAS. The cycle covers: formation of Program Teams, Self-Assessment Report, formation and visit of Academic Assessment Teams, AT Reports, Departmental Implementation Plans, Executive Summaries, Follow-up of Implementation Plans and the Corrective/Preventive Action Reports.

 Director QEC has participated in all QEC meetings organized by HEC and presented progress made by PIEAS in implementation of various Academic Quality Assurance measures.

 On-Line system for collection of feedbacks needed for the Self-Assessment procedures has been developed and implemented (thanks to Mr. M. Irfan Hameed). This includes Teacher Evaluation and Course Evaluation feedbacks. Semester-wise login-keys are distributed and all Department heads are requested to ensure that all students give their feedbacks on timely basis.

 Director QEC participated in various workshops/Trainings organized by the HEC.

 to conduct workshops/seminars on implementation of QA procedures as well as on SAR preparation

 to monitor the progress of various departments in SAR activity and to provide necessary assistance as needed.

 to schedule visits of Assessment Teams (AT) after the completion of SARs by various Departments.

 to submit Executive Summary to the Rector PIEAS, after receiving the Assessment Team Reports and Implementation Plans.
