WordPress Workshop

IEEE Computer society PIEAS in collaboration with Department of Computer and Information Science arranged an online 7-day course on WordPress. Talha Amjad, IEEE CS PIEAS was the course instructor for the course and the closing ceremony of the course was conducted on November 17, 2022. Rector PIEAS Dr. Nasir Majid Mirza was the chief guest of the Certificate Distribution ceremony. He distributed certificates and shields to the participants and best performers. The ceremony was also attended by the Head of the CIS Department Dr. Javaid Khurshid & IEEE CS Faculty Advisor, Dr. Tauseef Jamal

The course participants consisted of students from not only PIEAS but from different universities in Pakistan as well. They were taught about the basics of WordPress and Design & how to create a website using WordPress. Assignments & Tasks were given to the students for their practice. Participants were presented with certificates of Participation and Completion, and the three students that won the Award for Best Final Project were presented with shields.
