NOWPDP Workshop

NOWPDP team consisting of The Rickshaw Project Assistants Khadija Rehman Ali Fateh, delivered their first Accessible Cycle Design Challenge (ACDC) session in Islamabad at Pakistan Institute of Engineering Applied Sciences (PIEAS). The audience strength was 50, including students and faculty members.

Various aspects of the Design Challenge were touched upon by Khadija after which the Head of Department said he would be allocating this challenge as a Final Year Project for interested students. Some groups may also incorporate this challenge into their existing Final Year Projects since their project is of a wheelchair which works on brain movement. The session concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Khadija to the NOWPDP ambassador from PIEAS Haseeb Ul Hassan.
