Water Tank based Thermal System

This computer controlled thermal system can be used for investigation of different open loop and closed loop control techniques. A typical system consists of a personal computer, an I/O card, a water tank, heat exchanger with cooling fan, a pump, power trigger module, instumentation and number of test and control programs. Introductory manual provides information about the system model, available control programs and how to use the system for training purposes. Based on system model, digital controllers such as PID type, optimal state and fuzzy logic, etc. can be implemented on this sytem. Provided flexible software minimizes the need for external test equipments.
