This computer controlled sun tracking system can be used for investigation of different optimization techniques. The standard system consists of a PC, an I/O card, two stepper motors, mechanical parts,a PV panel, stepper motor driver boards, a power supply unit and number of test and tracking control programs. Digital optimization techniques such as hill climbing algorithm can easily be tested on this sysem. This system can also be used as a stepper motors trainer bed. Provided flexible software minimizes the need for external test equipment. Introductory manual provide information about the system and how to use the system for training purposes.
