This computer controlled DC position sero system can be used for investigation of open and closed loop position control using digital techniques. Digital controller such as PID type, optimal state, and fuzzy logic, etc. can be easily implemented on this system. Provided flexible software minimizes the need for external test equipments. Typically system consist of a PC, an I/O card, a DC motor with a position encoder, a PWM power amplifier, a power supply unit and number of tests and control programs.
