The Objectives and Thrust of the Division

The Objective of the department is to provide the Library and information services to students and faculty alike. It is department is composed of following sections:

	Photocopy Section
	Photography & Video Services
	Library

Photocopy Section
A large number of photocopying and duplicating machines are available in this section. Generally more than 2000 copies per day are handled. This section is separated in two sections on for the students where the students can get photocopied through cash payment. Where as the other section deals with the official work of various departments and divisions of PIEAS. Their billing is done on quarterly basis.

Photography & Video
The Official Photography and video making is also done by this section. Generally the black and white films used for various research works, such as, metelography, etc. is developed at PIEAS where as the color films are developed from the market.

Library
The library has more than 10,000 textbooks required for various programs of PIEAS. Also ten current journals are prescribed. The library basically is for the teaching purpose whereas, for the research purposes the PINSTECH library is utilized. Click here for more details
