Pakistan's capital Islamabad is situated along the Margalla
Hills at the northern end of Potohar Plateau. It offers a
healthy climate, pollution free atmosphere, plenty of water
and lush green area. It is a modern and carefully planned city
with wide tree-lined streets, large houses, elegant public
buildings and well-organized markets. Islamabad is just 15 km
from its older twin city of Rawalpindi.
Rose and Jasmine filled parks and scenic viewpoints are the
greatest tourist attractions. Some of the greatest tourist
spots in Islamabad are Shakarparian, Rawal Lake, Daman-e-Koh
and Faisal mosque.
