PIEAS has four hostels for the male students, with a covered area of over 70,000/- sq.ft. and can accommodate about 250 students. Male students are provided furnished single rooms in PIEAS hostels. Since temperatures during the winters can go down to the freezing point, they are also advised to bring plenty of warm clothing although each room in the hostel is provided with a gas room heater. However, fellows are expected to bring their own bedding and linen.

Female students are provided accommodation in furnished houses reserved for this purpose located just across the road from PIEAS. Around 50 female students can be accommodated at a time. Foreign students and married local students are usually accommodated in family suites.

A separate female hostel having the capacity of accommodating 100 students is planned to be constructed in the near future. There is a guest house to accommodate students' guests.

The Hostel has a games-room with facilities for several indoor games. Outdoor sporting facilities include tennis, badminton and volleyball courts as well as fields for cricket and hockey. Telephone service is provided to the residents of the Hostel. A post office and a bank are also situated nearby. Quite a few shops exist in the Nilore area to cater to everyday needs of the residents.

The Hostel kitchen is equipped with modern amenities. Meals are prepared on a co-operative (no-profit, no-loss) basis. All services are provided free of cost and fellows have to pay only for the food.
