Introduction

To deal with emergenices like road accidents, fracture & trauma, head injuries,play ground injuries, snake bite, dog bite, sun/heat stroke, dehydration, food poisoning, drowning and fire was a great threat to the PIEAS campus residents, because there was no Emergency Medical Centre. |

Therefore, the PIEAS has introduced a system of emergency peparedness, response and prevention system. |
|
PIEAS Medical Service is a well conceived & excellently implemented project under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Majeed, PIEAS. |
|
The service that was initially started as an emergency medical rescue has been a great success. Now it has been able to provide efficient and effective response, rescure and medical treatment and safe transportation of victims of accidents and other medical emergencies. |
|
This service is well equipped with a new ambulance, one resident medical officer, one female nurse and one nursing assistant is able to provide an emergency treatment. |

The ambulance is available round the clock with an efficient driver at PIEAS campus for the safe & swift transportation of patients in medical emergencies. |

There is stock of essential & emergency life saving drugs in the supervision of medical officer at PIEAS Hostel. |

The medicine is issued to the students in acute emergency conditions only. |
