| a) |
A fellow of PIEAS who is on probation but has not failed in any of the courses will have the monthly stipend suspended during the next semester. If his GPA 2.5 (calculated on the basis of his results of first midterm in the next semester), the stipend may be restored along with the payment of arrears. |

A fellow of PIEAS who is on probation but has failed in only one course will have the monthly stipend suspended during the next semester. If his GPA 2.5 in the next semester the stipend may be restored along with the payment of arrears after the declaration of results of the next semester. |
| c) |
A fellow of PIEAS who is on probation but has failed in two or more courses will have the monthly stipend suspended during the next semester. If his GPA 2.5 in the next semester the stipend may be restored without payment of arrears after the declaration of results of the next semester. |
| d) |
Any repetition of probation with two or more course failures in a subsequent semester will result in a permanent stoppage of the monthly stipend. |
| e) |
Stipend may be paid to a fellow during the last semester (if the last semester is beyond the normal number of semester), if his fellowship has been cancelled during an earlier semester and there have been no subsequent course failures. |
| f) |
The monthly stipend will be payable for a maximum of 24 months, even if a fellow has to attend an extra semester for the completion of course requirements. |
